My Students Are 100 Days Smarter!!!

Well today we celebrated the 100th day of school and we were busy bees trying to get it all done before our pizza/movie party this afternoon!  This morning we read the room and wrote 100 words that we could read! The kids did a fabulous job and got to have a small treat as they finished up!  After a nice and breezy 70 degree recess {in January...and only in Missouri...as we like to say,} we created our 100th Day Headbands.  The kiddos decorated colored sentence strips with 100 decorations and then we stapled on our party hats...SO cute!

You can find the template for the super cute party hat in my Celebrating 100 Days Station Pack on my TpT Store.  Here is the Link:
P.S. It is on sale through tonight!

After lunch we came back and did our party graph, played our roll and add games from my newest freebie and read some of my favorite 100th Day of School Books!

Here are just a few of our class favorites from today!

At the end of the day the class got to enjoy some yummy pizza and cookies in honor of our 100th Day!  We had an amazing day and topped it off with a Disney Classic!

So day 100 goes down and the books and we are officially on the count down to second grade!

100th Day Celebration

2013 is off to a great start in first grade!  We have been working hard getting back into routine and gearing up for the 100th Day of School!  To start off the new year we are playing Chutes and Ladders as a new cooperative learning behavior management plan!  The kids are really enjoying the game and trying to survive with TONS of inside recess!  I hope we can make it until spring!  Here is what we are doing in stations to gear up for the 100th Day of School!  Take a look at the fun we are having!
